Her work has gained a lot of attention since the 1999 edition of the Venice Biennale curated by Harald Szeemann where Fritsch’s massive piece filled the main room at the Central Pavilion. We all remember Katharina Fritsch’s giant blue cockerel on the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square.
